Tony Ande, MBA, CPA, Chief Financial & Operations Officer
Growing up in rural Southern Illinois where the nearest neighbor was a mile of gravel road away, the number one spot on my Christmas list as a child was a pony. When a bike showed up under the tree in its stead, my disappointment evaporated quickly. With a bright red frame and white wall tires, it could “morph” into countless modes of transport for an aspiring cowboy, daredevil, astronaut, or bandit. Until recently, most of my bicycling occurred as a youngster and in college. In 2006 I sold my car and have never looked back. But only after joining Alta did I reconnect with a bike. My first week on the job at Alta I hopped on one of the loaners and I took off down the Springwater Corridor trail. That experience prompted me to purchase a Trek Soho and now, like so many of you, I am riding every day. Thank you Alta!
