Kaiser Woods Park Phase II, Washington County (OR)
Alta Planning + Design provided full landscape architectural services for this project, which included site reconnaissance work, design development drawings, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, bidding assistance, and construction observation for six tracts of land surrounding the Arborwood neighborhood in Washington County. The park improvements include play equipment, multi-use trails, wetland enhancement plantings, benches, fencing, artwork, retaining walls, and irrigation. Three of the six tracts of land have wetlands on them, requiring delineation and permitting through Washington County's Clean Water Services District. Alta created multiple design options for the client's review, conducted a public process with the neighborhood association to reach consensus on a preferred site plan for each tract, developed cost estimates, and will carry the final design through bid document and construction oversight.
