Design is the element of a bicycle, pedestrian or trail project that is most obvious to the public—but the vision, details and nuances that go into that design are the keys to its success. Alta offers a unique blend of skills and experience to envision, plan, create and implement award-winning project designs.
Our designers have expertise in landscape architecture, bike and pedestrian planning, land use planning, cultural and historical assessment, and economic analysis. To put it simply, you don’t have to fit together a jumble of pieces and contributors—we offer a single resource for multiple facets of any bicycle, pedestrian or trail project. We’ll provide innovative design, but we’ll also help with details such as permitting requirements, plan reviews, contractor selection and construction services.
And our designs have inspired people around the world. We’ve become experts at successfully blending the creative imagination of visionaries, the pragmatic wisdom of diplomats and the precise execution of engineers—because all those people work at Alta.
