Clark County Wetlands Park, Las Vegas (NV)

This project includes approximately 64 total miles of trails ranging from multi-use bike trails, mountain bike trails, equestrian trails, viewpoints, interpretive program development and restoration landscaping. Alta developed base maps, conducted extensive field work utilizing GPS technology to field locate trails and key points, created a series of site analysis overlays to develop trail alignments including existing soils, geology, cultural resource sites, topography, wetlands, flood plain data, and existing vegetation. Alta developed design development drawings for all park elements including: bridges and boardwalks, interpretive signs, overlooks, shade structures, drinking fountains, lighing, benches tables, emergency call boxes, and trail sections based upon anticipated use. Alta provided material selections for all site amenities, and restoration opportunities and techniques.
