Brandon Dalton, Planner

Brandon is a born and raised Utahn whose hobbies include traveling to new places, snowboarding in the mountains, and going fishing. He is very passionate about music, both listening to and creating it. He most enjoys the sci-fi genre when reading books or watching movies. He is also a baseball and basketball fanatic.  



Brandon has a wide variety of skills in design, writing and creative thinking. He is experienced in producing signs, maps, graphics and many other public relations and marketing materials.

Brandon maintains a blog about trails and transit lines that work together to improve places, and encourage mixed-use and multi-modal transportation (www.trailandrail.wordpress.com).

Recent Projects

  • Listening to Mobridge, Mobridge, SD
    Brandon played a lead role in a studio capstone course at The University of Utah, which concerned defining a community vision of some lake-front property in the small town of Mobridge, South Dakota (www.listeningtomobridge.wordpress.com). The project was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award for a Student Project from the Utah Chapter of the American Planning Association in 2011.
